| Bio | Contemporary sources and official records are united in calling her Edythe-the modern "Edith" is a plain error. A Chicago native, she made a run to the finals of the US Nationals in 1900. Myrtle McAteer routed her 6-2 6-2 6-0. Parker won some consolation in taking the doubles crown with Hattie Champlin over McAteer/Marie Wimer 9-7 6-2 6-2. She also won the Niagara International in 1899.  |
